Caregiver Support Group is a free program that is run by the Care Connexxus Adult Day Care Program here at the Center. The Group meets on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month, 9:30-11. It is designed to give support and information to those who are caring for Alzheimer's disease, related disorders or chronic illness.

Graffiti Task Force is a group that aids in the control and removal of graffiti in our local area. They meet here at the Center every 2nd Wednesday of the month.

Food Distribution is a program run by Second Harvest Food Bank in Riverside.  It is operated here at the Center solely by volunteers.  It is a program designated through the Older Americans Act that is federally funded. A person needs only to be 60 years of age or older and register at the Centers office. It is held here the 2nd Thursday of every month between 10:00-12:00.

Grief Support Ramona VNA holds a grief support group here at the Center once a month. It is held on the 4th Thursday of each month from 10 am - 11 am.

Computer Classes are held here at the Center in 6 week training sessions and there is a $30.00 fee for these classes. We have a full service computer lab run by volunteers from the Menifee Valley Computer Club. You may sign up on the list at the Center.

HiCap which is an acronym for Health Insurance Counseling and Advocacy Program is a free service here at the Center that provides assistance with Medicare and other health insurance. They offer objective information to help seniors and other people on Medicare make good decisions about their health care coverage. They hold appointments here the 2nd and 4th Friday of each month starting at 9 am. Please call HiCap to make an appointment. 1-800-434-0222

Sun City Concern is a vital free of charge program in our community. They provide information, assistance and referrals along with an outreach program, telephone reassurance program, the Gatekeeper Program, Concern Alert, Travel Desk and Bingo every Wednesday. Their operating hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4 pm.

Bingo is held at the Center every Wednesday from 1 pm until 4 pm. It is hosted by Sun City Concern and is their primary fundraiser.

Project Food Box is a weekly food program for low-income families and seniors. It is held on Thursdays from 12 noon until 1:15pm. The cost is $15. The program is offered at the Center through Western Eagle Foundation.

Kinship is a program for grandparents raising grandchildren and other relative caregivers. There are monthly meetings with speakers, special presentations and a support group. Contact person is Doris Adams.

Care Connexxus, Inc. is a professionally staffed program onsite providing adult day care, Alzheimer’s care and caregiver support services. It is for persons who are socially isolated, physically or memory impaired and offers: home-like environment, full and half days Monday through Friday, and respite care.

Volunteer Opportunities: The Center has a small paid staff and is significantly supported by a variety of volunteers. Volunteer activities include (but are not limited to the following): front desk reception, utility payment clerks, newsletter delivery, lunch servers, special event planners and implementers, handyman, grounds, computers, general office (clerical), reading mentors, class leaders, and survey takers.

Senior Nutrition is a lunch program provided for seniors 60 years of age and older Monday through Friday. Lunch is served at 11:30 am with reservations taken up until 10:30 of the same day. Daily lunch is also delivered to the homes of seniors who are unable to come to the Center.
