History:
Partners have identified,
summarized and prioritized the perceived needs of the Menifee
Valley. This was accomplished over a three month period. From that
point the MVP decided to begin to address the top issues
identified. The top three issues singled out by the MVP were
transportation, recreation and communication. The MVP has begun
working on the communication issue, noting that every business,
agency and individual has a need to know what is happening in the
Valley, what
services are available and how to access those services. Towards
that end, the MVP plans to implement an Information & Referral
Center at the Kay Ceniceros Community Center. In addition, the MVP
has encourage the Kay Ceniceros Community Center to increase its
distribution of its monthly newsletter, the FOCUS, noting that
specific information about the Menifee Valley is seldom in the
daily newspapers or the weeklies.
